Character Analysis

ANNE:

ANNE is a thirteen year old girl. She was born in Germany in the twelve of June 1921. Her family is Jewish they emigrated to Holland when Hitler took power. Anne lives with her parents and her sister is called Margot she is 18 years old. Mr. Frank one night told Anne that they were going into hiding and Anne the next morning she was putting on clothes on top of clothes because if they would carry suit cases they would look to suspicious. When they arrived in the hiding place Anne sees that Mr. Van Daan and Mrs. Van Daan are rite there and there son Peter. Peter was looking down in the window. And Mr. Van Daan also was looking down the window. Peter and Anne's relationship is a love hate situation. Peter calls Anne "quack" "quack" because she talks a lot it all started when she was in fourth grand because she us to talk alot. Anne is a very out spoken person because she is loud and she likes to talk. Her relation ship with her mother is not that good because her mother compares her to her older sister Margot also they don't have nothing in common. Mr. Van Daan and Margot are always fighting because one time Mr. Van Daan had ran out of tobacco and he was frustrated and he was looking for his shoes and anne had them and she was hiding them from him she was hiding them behind her back. Anne and her sister have a strong relationship because Anne and her take lessons like in school and they get along well. Anne and her father have lots of stuff in common they understand each other and they have a great relationship. Mrs. Van Daan and Anne don't have a great relationship because Mrs. Van Daan let Anne see her coat and Anne accidental dirtied it and Anne was so sorry and Mr. Van Daan didn't believe her. Anne is involved in this play because she is the main one that is in the play. Anne feels that being in the attic must be a bad thing because she is in there the whole time and she cant see her friends or anything also she must miss her house and her bike. Anne in the night had nightmares she would scream she would dream that the green police came in the attic and took her and her family away. Anne was a skinny girl. A important line that i think is important is "Its true I've been thinking about it for a long time. Your the only one i love". This was when she had her nightmare she wanted her father not her mother because her mother treats her bad so she wanted her father because they got lots of different stuff in common her father told her but your mother is on the other side he is crying and that's when she tells him but your the only one that i love.

Act 1 scene 1-4

scene 1: What happened in scene one is that Hitler took Mr. Franks business. They go into hiding in the attic and the place that they go into hiding is the business that Mr.Frank us to have. Miep is pregnant. Anne is thirteen years old. Anne and Margot are sisters and brothers. Mr. Frank saw some of his papers and he wanted to burn them but he didn't because he saw that Anne's diary feel and he opened it and started to read it. Then Ann's voice comes in. Anne's father Mr. Frank told Anne that they were going into hiding and Anne started to wear clothes on top of clothes because if they would take suit cases it would be too suspicious. Anne is in the hiding with Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan and his son Peter. Also her parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank and her older sister Margot.

Scene 2 Anne before she new that she was going into hiding with. She sees that Mr. Van Daan is a tall man he is in his late forties and he likes to smoke. Anne sees that Peter is standing on the window looking down on the street. Peter is really shy he is a sixteen year old boy. They go back in the 1942's. Miep at this time is not pregnant. Peter takes of his star because the Jewish people had to wear stars and sense peter was going into hiding he wanted to take it off and burn it. Anne also takes off her star but she does not throw it away. Mr. Frank still has the German accent. Mr. Kraler had to go get some ration books. But Mr. Van Daan said that with the ration books they would get caught easily.

scene 3 Two months have past. Thy have been quiet for a long time and Mr. Frank says that the last workman have left. Anne goes and gets peters shoes and she hides them behind her back. Peter is crazy looking for them and find ally Anne gives him his shoes. Anne wanted peter to dance with her. But peter told her that he did not know how to dance. Peter calls Anne "quack, quack" because she starts to talk a lot. Mrs. Van Daan start to flirt with Mr. Frank. Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan start to fight over Mr. Van Daan about his tobacco.

scene 4 Anne starts to scream everyday because she has bad nightmares. Dussel he is another person that goes into hiding with them tells Anne to be quiet because somebody could her them. Mrs. Frank try's to calm her down but she want her father. Her father goes and she starts to talk to him about her dream her dream was about the green man coming in and taking her away. Mr.Frank tells Anne that her mother is crying on the other room because Anne didn't want her. Everybody wishes something when they get out of hiding. Peter wishes that he could go to the movies. peters father wanted to get ride of Mouschi but peter said if he goes i go.

What is drama????????

Drama means a story that is performed on stage. There has to be characters, scripts, and etc. When people mention drama they think that there is a script, conflict, climax, and etc. and people acting on stage. Drama can also be the entertainment for audience it can tell a story or something that is very dramatic. Drama is used a lot like it can be used in your life in television in music. Drama is a genre that has acting, arguments, feelings, and emotions. Drama can be fiction or not fiction. Drama can also describe lots of different things in life that is general. Drama is any work designed by actors. Drama comes from a Greek word. Drama can also be written as a script. Drama is usually divided into parts called acts. The acts are often divided into smaller parts that are called scene. The scripts of drama are made up of dialogue and stage directions. Stage directions are usually printed in italics that tells the actor or narrator how the actors should move or act. Drama is usually used in teens a lot. People think that drama has to do with a big sound like people fighting and acting all silly.
